A flat mount brake adapter is not the most exciting component on a bike. The stock Shimano one works, everyone has one.
But that doesn’t mean it can’t be nicer.
This rear flat mount adapter is my take on the standard 140/160 mm rear brake adapter used with Shimano, SRAM and other normal flat mount calipers. The geometry does the same job as the common OEM part, but with a few details that make it feel a bit more special: a more sculpted CNC profile, 7075-T6, and a longer lasting Hard Anodised finish rather than the usual painted or powder-coated look. Also takes 160mm native frames to 180mm discs.
The result is a small but satisfyingly neat upgrade for anyone who enjoys the details.

Takes road/gravel frames from 140mm native to 160mm, and the increasingly popular 160mm native frames to 180mm.
Also fits forks where the rear flat mount standard is used (bolts through from the front).
If you are running a 160mm rear disc without an existing adapter plate, your frame is 160mm native.
