Refund policy

Returns and cancellations

We offer a 30-day return period. You have 30 days from receiving your item to request a return.

For UK consumers purchasing online, your statutory right to cancel your order is unaffected. You may notify us that you wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

For a statutory cancellation, we will refund the purchase price together with the cost of our least expensive standard delivery service. If you selected an enhanced, expedited or more expensive delivery service, the additional delivery cost will not be refunded.

Unless the goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods to Peak Torque.

You may inspect the goods as you would reasonably be able to in a shop. If the goods have been handled, installed or used beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality, and their value has consequently been reduced, Peak Torque reserves the right to make an appropriate deduction from the refund to reflect that reduction in value.

In particular, components should wherever possible be returned in their original condition and packaging. Installation marks, clamping marks, scratches, adhesive residue, cut components, cable-routing damage or other signs of installation or use may result in a deduction where they reduce the resale value of the product.

For returns made under our voluntary 30-day returns policy after the statutory cancellation period has expired, goods must be unused, uninstalled and returned in their original condition and packaging. Original delivery charges are not refundable for these voluntary returns.

To request a return, please contact us before sending the item back. We will provide instructions for the return.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence that you have returned them, whichever occurs first.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods.

Custom made parts and Merchandise

Some Peak Torque parts and merchandise are produced to order.

Where an item is made to your individual specifications or is clearly personalised, the statutory right to cancel for change of mind does not apply. This includes, for example, custom machining, repaired parts, merchandise incorporating customer-requested names, wording, numbers, images or other bespoke customisation.

This does not affect your statutory rights where an item is faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied.

Standard non-personalised merchandise may be returned in accordance with the statutory cancellation rights described above.

For returns accepted under Peak Torque's voluntary returns policy outside the statutory cancellation period, print-on-demand merchandise is excluded from change-of-mind returns unless otherwise agreed by Peak Torque.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us.
