With the help of some top domestic TTers, I have developed a 90mm monolithic spacer that enables a higher and more rigid setup than the stock Giant teardrop spacers. With deep machining using a number of custom fixtures, the weight is only 134g for the pair. Integrating into the base bar, the one piece spacer takes the bending load off the bolts, which is an issue when high-stacking the original teardrop spacers. They are designed to integrate directly with the base bar, cross brace, Giant pole clamps or the 15 deg PT wedges. There is full internal di2 routing, or semi-integrated routing which requires no cable disassembly. Supplied with correct length hi-tensile bolts for the standard Giant configuration.
Loctite 222 (low strength) can be used on the threads, and the bolt shanks should be lightly greased to prevent corrosion from sweat and the elements. We could use stainless bolts, but these would have a 20-30% lower yield strength.
Due to the height, the spacers must be used with the Giant cross brace.
